OUR STORY
We were both going through our own challenges.
Life transitions.
Feeling isolated.
Emotionally exhausted.
We helped each other through. And we realised not everyone has that.
Many of us don’t know where to turn or how to begin healing.
Nobody should have to do it alone.
We found our light.
We built Therapeia so you can find yours.

A NOTE FROM ANIKA
FOUNDER & CEO
Before Therapeia, I studied at London Business School, built my early career at Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley, and moved into strategy at SonderMind – one of the US’s leading mental health platforms.
When I navigated a significant personal transition, I felt what so many of us feel – isolated in my pain, confused about where to begin, and unsure of where to turn. I wished there was a space to step away from the demands of daily life, to be guided along the course of lasting healing, and do so alongside others on the same journey.
So I built it – with my sister by my side.
My deepest hope is for Therapeia to bring light to anyone going through a painful moment in their lives, and to be the family they choose to walk with them along their path of healing.
A NOTE FROM TRUSHA
CMO
I’ve spent much of my career asking a question I could never quite let go of: What if healing meant addressing not only physical symptoms, but the emotional and psychological weight they carry?
I’m a physician with a Master of Public Health from Harvard University. My early years practicing medicine in the UK shaped my understanding of care as both clinical and human. Since then, as a strategy consultant and later Medical Director at two large-scale telehealth organizations in the United States, I have led work focused on expanding access to quality care for those too often overlooked by traditional systems. My work has been recognized nationally by the American Medical Group Association, the American Telemedicine Association, and the National Association for Healthcare Quality.
Yet beneath every role I’ve held is something much deeper: true healing requires us to care for the whole person. Not only the body, but the mind and soul as well. Because physical suffering is rarely only physical. It can impact identity, relationships, hope, and the way someone moves through the world. And in those moments people need more than clinical solutions. They need to feel seen, understood, and deeply cared for.
Building Therapeia with my sister has been my way of honoring that belief. It is not only the culmination of the clinical work I’ve done, but an expression of the care I have always believed people deserve.
